TAKE NOTICE THAT the Planning Department of the Township of Montague has received an Application for a Zoning By-law Amendment that was deemed complete on March 1st, 2023;
AND THAT the Council of the Township of Montague will hold and in-person and livestreamed PUBLIC MEETING on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of considering a proposed zoning by-law amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act. The meeting can be viewed on the Township of Montague's YouTube channel, or you may attend in person at 6547 Roger Stevens Drive, Smiths Falls, Ontario, to participate in the public meeting.
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment will amend the zoning of the subject lands from Rural (RU) to Highway Commercial - Special Exception 2 – holding (CH-2-h) to permit the development of the property with a self-storage facility.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION is available for public inspection by appointment at the Township of Montague's Municipal Office during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
