The Township of Montague is committed to providing safe, affordable recreation opportunities for its residents. The MRCC is made up of a group of volunteers who oversee the events happening within the township. The MRCC meets the fourth Thursday of every month at Rosedale Hall (657 Rosedale Rd S) at 7:00pm.

Montague Township is hosting a Summer Camp July 24-28, 2023! Included for just $50 per child, is a week of themed days, special guests, and fun activities!
We have a limited number of spaces available, so if your children are interested, please complete the registration form and provide payment to the Township Office. We accept cash, cheque or debit, which can also be left in the secure dropbox at the front door if you are not able to make it during regular business hours.

Smiths Falls Civitan Club

Smiths Falls Civitan Club is a non-profit, volunteer organization that provides services and assistance to Smiths Falls and surrounding areas while promoting good citizenship through its membership. Civitan has a special emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities. As part of that mission, clubs help fund the Civitan International Research Center, dedicated to better treatment and understanding of disorders such as autism, cerebral palsy, brain cancer, and other illnesses of the human brain.

Civitan membership provides opportunities for personal growth, leadership training, and organizational experience. Civitans from all walks of life have gone on to serve as leaders at the club, regional, and even international levels.

Montague and District Seniors Forget-Me-Not Club

The purpose of the organization is to represent the needs of seniors through unity and education and to enhance the quality of life, community participation and independence of seniors. The organization holds euchre parties 3 times weekly; monthly members meeting; pot luck suppers; catering luncheons & dinners in the club as well as events outside of our club; annual Remembrance Day service; Founder's Day; Christmas Dinner/Dance; New Year’s Eve gathering; we provide hall use for local seniors choir as well as community use for birthdays, weddings, showers and many other events. The club is wheelchair-friendly so it can be accessible by all.
