Regular Meeting of Council

• Council appointed Councillor Jennings and Deputy Reeve Van Der Meer to the Treasurer hiring panel.
• Council approved visual identity policy.
• Council supported a resolution regarding Municipal Amalgamation and a Resolution regarding the Integrity Commissioner Regulations.
• Council requested the County of Lanark item regarding invasive plants be placed on the municipal website.

Committee of the Whole

• Meeting Management software RFP scope was approved and Council exempted a portion of the procurement policy.
• Council approved the Medical Tiered Response Agreement which permits the Montague Fire Department to provide emergency response to certain specific emergency calls for assistant to Lanark County Paramedic Services.
• Council discussed the changes to the Provincial Policy Statement and the impact it will have on local policies.
• At an upcoming meeting Council will be discussing implementing policies for detached accessory dwelling units.
• Council received a number of 3rd quarter reports from staff.
