NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

DEVELOPMENT CHARGES BY-LAW

TAKE NOTICE that the Corporation of the Township Montague will hold a Public Meeting on Thursday, JANUARY 20, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Township Municipal Office to consider a proposed new Development Charges By-law for The Township Montague.The provisions of the Development Charges Act require that a new By-law be adopted every five years.As required by the Act, a Background Study has been completed by the Township to support the new By-law and is available on the Township's website.The By-law and Notice have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O. 1997, c. 27, as amended and its Regulations.

ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Development Charges By-law.

A COPY of the By-law and additional information relating to the Development Charges By-law including the supporting Development Charges Background Study, are available for inspection during regular office hours at the Township Office, as of Tuesday, January 4, 2022, as required under Section 12. (1)(c) of the Development Charges Act.
