LARGE ITEM DROP OFF DAY
The long awaited FINAL Large Item Drop Day is fast approaching. Please purchase your LIDD silver tags at the municipal office.
Tags are $3.00 each and each large item will require four (4) tags for disposal.
When:
Saturday, September 25, 2021
8 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Where:
Montague Township Municipal Building
6547 Roger Stevens Drive, Smiths Falls
Acceptable Items:
white metals, furniture, scrap metal, propane tanks, air-conditioners, fridges etc.
Brush:
No brush drop-off
Please note:
LIDD Silver Tag or equivalent monetary value is required.
There will be a $50 cash charge for fridges, freezers, and air conditioners which do not have a "Freon Removed" sticker by a certified technician.
NO ORANGE STICKERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
- Brush – Brush can be disposed of at Glenview Iron & Metal
- Electronics – Are not accepted, but can be disposed of at REAL located at 85 William St W, Smiths Falls, ON K7A 5A5 (613-283-7999)
- Construction material will not be collected/accepted. Uncollectible waste should be taken to either Glenview Iron and Metal located at 3954 Highway 43 (613-283-5230) or the Beckwith Transfer Station located at 9271 Cavanagh Road (613-257-1195). Residents will be responsible for the fee associated with the drop off.
